Description: This multi-purpose output transformer is meant for use as an upgrade / replacement output transformer for many modern, high gain amplifiers as well as many vintage style amplifiers. This is an amazing, high performing DIY output transformer. This is based loosely on the one used in the Marshall 100W Plexi, JMP, JCM800 amplifiers (APD_8026H) but has additional features. Physically it is larger and has more substantial, beefier mounting brackets. As far as performance it offers wider bandwidth than normal production guitar amplifier output transformers. This is the 4/8/16 Ohm version of the Classic and good fit for some aftermarket amp kits. Great vintage era type paper layer wound upgrade/general replacement Output transformer! Uses the best cool running, M-6 grain oriented steel for amazing performance! Offers multiple impedance 4/8/16. It is a tone monster!!! Paper Core like the originals. Mounting: O.C. 3” x 3 1/2” |
